I'm Anna, I am passionate about telling stories in a truthful, engaging way. I love sharing the heart of a character and playing out the shifts in the scenes through heartfelt moments and responses. My goal is to enter so honestly into the character that the viewer forgets they are watching a portrayal.

Anna Stranz is a Minnesota-based actress. Passionate and hardworking, she is dedicated to telling stories with as much depth and honesty as possible. With appearances in three episodes of ABC's In An Instant, she is also known for her role as Gabby Daur in the feature film, Miles Between Us (2017), as well as her roles in the feature-length films, Dark Cloud(2022), Only Dance Can Save Us(2018), GUNN(2017), and The Lumber Baron(2019). She takes leading roles in the treatment films Awakening and Oh My Stars.

My Story
Acting has always been a passion of mine. From the age of seven or eight, I began dreaming up dramatic movie scenes and channeling my childhood angst into stories of orphans and princesses. At thirteen, I was allowed to enroll in an acting class with an independent theater company, and my journey into the arts began. I worked in theater and advanced acting training for five years until I made the switch to film. I have worked in film for ten years now, bringing characters to life in independent feature films, treatments, short films and commercials. I love this work and feel so honored to have been able to partner with such a talented collection of actors, writers, directors and crew. Thanks for being here.
